I think people treat AO3 like it’s much more important than it is but I believe in free speech so deeply that I think protecting silly speech is just as important, especially because it’s not a zero sum game, we’re not grabbing a limited number of websites while fleeing the burning internet. Not compromising protection for silly speech only strengthens protection for serious speech.
